Denis Kang snaps losing streak with Spirit MC title defense

PRIDE veteran and Spirit MC heavyweight (176-pound) champion Denis Kang (30-10-1) picked up a much-needed victory today with a first-round TKO of Jae Young Kim (10-6).
The fight capped off Saturday’s Spirit MC 18 event at the Jang Chung Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea.
Kang, who garnered a top-10 middleweight ranking after going undefeated during a 23-fight stretch from April 2003 to November 2006, won for just the second time in his past five fights.

Sadollah Returning at UFC 91

Colonial Heights, Virginia – Season seven winner of “The Ultimate Fighter” Amir Sadollah returned to his former home state of Virginia during Combat Sports Challenge 26 last night to corner several fighters from his old Richmond-based Team Combat fight team that is housed out of the Combat Sports Center.

Amir Sadollah to return at UFC 91

Amir Sadollah (1-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC), a little-known fighter who navigated a surprising run to become the winner of “The Ultimate Fighter 7,” expects to make his official post-”TUF” return at UFC 91.
Sadollah mentioned the return, but no possible opponent, during a guest visit at this past Saturday’s Combat Sports Challenge 26 event, according to fiveouncesofpain.com.
UFC 91 takes place Nov. 15 at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Ore.
