The fighter payouts for “Strikeforce at the Mansion II” from the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills, Calif., on September 20 have been released by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC).
And Trevor Prangley — along with lightweight champion Josh “The Punk” Thomson — were the big winners of the evening, pocketing a $40,000 base salaries for their respective wins.
“The Punk” took home $40,000 for just over a minute’s worth of work, while main event competitor Joe “Diesel” Riggs earned the same in a losing effort.
The other top two earners on the card were Terry Martin ($10,000) and Luke Stewart ($8,000) who both finished their respective opponents.
It’s interesting to note that both prized Japanese acquisitions who were making their respectove Strikeforce debuts — Kazuo Misaki and Mitsuhiro Ishida — were paid only $1,400 apiece from Strikeforce.
Obviously, there had to be more money paid upfront or coming from a third party at a later date, considering Misaki was part of the main event — $1,400 wouldn’t even cover the round trip airfare to the “Land of the Rising Sun.”
Nonetheless, here are all the “Strikeforce at the Mansion II” payouts:
Kazuo Misaki: $1,400
Joe Riggs: $20,000
Misaki defeated Riggs via technical knockout (strikes) in round two

Prangley defeated Ruiz via unanimous decision
Luke Stewart: $8,000
Jesse Juarez: $2,000
